Autumn Pear Embroidery Hoop

An 8 inch autumnal pear embroidery hoop created using acrylic ink finished with a hand-stitched design.

The calico fabric (which has a natural and speckled texture to it) has been hand-stained with acrylic inks, mixed to create the abstract pear background. The pear design was stitched using high-quality black DMC thread.

The piece is stitched securely into the hoop with a felt backing so will lie flat against the wall if hung up, or can be perched on a stand/shelf.

This piece took 16 hours in total to create.

All hoops are photographed in natural daylight. Due to differences in screen settings, colours may differ slightly between photos and the physical product. I have captured the true colours to the best of my ability.
