Why Embroidery & Fabric Printing Workshops Work Well for Corporate Groups
Creative workshops using embroidery and fabric printing fit naturally into workplace, conference and event settings, offering people a chance to slow down, focus and take a creative break from the day.
- Encourages people to pause and step away from busy workdays, helping them feel more present
- Keeps hands and minds gently occupied, making it easier to switch off without pressure
- Beginner-friendly, with clear guidance throughout and no prior creative experience needed
- Low-pressure and non-competitive, allowing everyone to take part at their own pace
- Flexible in format - embroidery suits longer, seated workshops, while textile printing works well for drop-in sessions and large events
- Participants leave with a new skill, creative confidence, and something they’ve made themselves
- Creates a calm, non-intimidating, shared creative space where conversation can flow naturally, or people can quietly focus if they prefer
Workshop Formats
I offer a range of creative workshops to suit different groups, spaces and events. Whether you’re planning a seated session for a small team, a drop-in activity at a conference, or a larger activation, there is a format that works for you.
- Seated embroidery workshops – perfect for teams to sit together, slow down and enjoy a shared creative experience. Sessions usually last 90 to 120 minutes and participants leave with a small stitched piece they have made themselves.
- Textile printing drop-in sessions – great for conferences, office events or lunch-time activations. People can dip in, try something hands-on and leave whenever they need to.
- Short creative bursts – 30 to 60 minute sessions designed for a quick team energiser or wellbeing break, giving participants a moment to pause and focus.
- Tailored sessions – workshops can be adapted to suit your schedule, group size or specific event goals, keeping the experience relaxed and enjoyable for everyone.
All workshops are guided, beginner-friendly and designed to give participants a calm, unhurried creative experience. Everyone is encouraged to take their time, enjoy the process and leave with a small piece they can be proud of.

Past Workshops & Experience
I bring over a decade of experience in arts event organisation and workshop delivery, which means every booking is planned clearly and thoughtfully, from first enquiry through to delivery on the day. I work with organisers in advance to make sure the workshop design and setup suit your space and brief, and I’m calm and adaptable should anything need adjusting on the day itself.

Corporate & Office Workshops
I run regular creative sessions at Landmark Offices in Manchester, from lunch‑time textile printing drop‑ins to short, focused embroidery classes that explore one simple skill at a time. I’ve also designed and led workshops for Mental Health Awareness weeks in larger offices, creating calming, engaging moments in the workday.
Conference & Festival Activations
I’ve delivered workshop activations tailored to specific briefs, including curated tote bag printing for Affilifest at Freight Island, where participants decorated branded bags with bespoke stamps I designed, and embroidery sessions for events such as Fearne Cotton’s Happy Place Festival and the Festival of Making. These experiences show my ability to adapt the creative activity to suit different audiences and settings.
Flexible Group Sizes
I’ve worked with groups as small as five for seated classes, mid‑sized teams up to fifty, and large drop‑in populations of around 100 over the course of a day. Whether it’s a focused team session or a bustling conference space, my workshop formats remain calm, engaging, and manageable.
Creative Teaching & Support
I’m attentive in how I teach, adapting my approach to how groups and individuals respond, building enough time into sessions to offer the guidance people need, and providing written instructions for people to take away so they can continue at their own pace. My aim is always for participants to feel supported and confident in what they’ve tried.
Beautiful Modern Designs
Hand designed by me, handmade by you. Everyone creates something they can be proud of.
What People Say
-
"Steph hosts workshops in our office building for occupiers. Our latest workshop with her was for our Easter celebrations, where she taught Spring embroidery designs on hoops.Steph is always friendly and energetic, and has built great relationships with our occupiers. She's a great teacher, and is always patient with anyone finding things a bit more difficult. She provides all materials needed, with lots to take home, and her complimentary stitch guide to take home.We love how she always has something different for us to try, and how friendly she is with everyone who attends our workshops. People always ask when she'll be back next!"

“It was an absolute pleasure working with Hoop & Fred for a series of workshops in each of our Affinity Living apartment buildings! Stephie tailored these workshops perfectly to suit our brand – from the hoop design to delivery style. The workshops were friendly, fun, and relaxed. And made all residents feel comfortable socialising and stitching (even if they’d never sewn before!). These workshops proved so popular, we had to bring Hoop & Fred back for another three workshops to meet demand!”
