Bespoke Creative Workshops

Sometimes a workshop needs to be shaped around a specific idea, theme, or moment. Alongside my core workshop formats, I also design bespoke creative workshops and events in response to a brief, working closely with organisations to create something that feels considered, relevant, and genuinely enjoyable to take part in.

Bespoke workshops are about creating a made-to-measure experience. One where the design, materials, pace, and delivery all work together to support your wider project or event, while still keeping the activity relaxed, beginner-friendly, and engaging for participants.

When a Bespoke Workshop Is A Good Fit

Bespoke workshops work particularly well when:

  • You’re working around a specific theme, project, or idea
  • You want the creative activity to clearly connect to a wider event or
  • You’re looking for something thoughtful rather than off-the-shelf
  • You want participants to feel engaged, welcomed, and comfortable taking part

Bespoke workshops have been created for arts organisations, corporate teams, conferences, festivals, and community-led projects.

How The Process Works

Bespoke workshops always begin with a conversation. We’ll talk through your ideas, the context of the event, and the practicalities, such as timings, audience, and space.

From there, I develop a session that responds to both the creative brief and the realities of delivery. This might involve designing a new embroidery or fabric printing concept inspired by your theme, shaping the structure of the session so it fits naturally into the event, or adapting materials and techniques to suit the setting.

My background as both a workshop leader and an arts event organiser means I think about the whole experience, not just the activity itself. The design has to work creatively, but it also has to work on the day.

Past Bespoke Projects

I’ve created bespoke workshops and activations for a range of organisations and events, including:

  • An embroidery workshop inspired by Northern Soul patches for a theatre production
  • International Women’s Day workshops designed around historic symbolism and mindful making
  • A fabric printing activation for a large conference, designed to encourage footfall and conversation

These projects all started with very different briefs, but shared the same aim: creating a meaningful, well-considered creative experience that felt right for the people taking part.

When to Get in Touch

Ideally, I like to be involved as early as possible so there’s time to design, source materials, and shape the workshop properly. A lead time of around six weeks works well, but I’m always happy to talk things through and see what’s possible.

Bespoke doesn’t have to mean complicated. It simply means taking the time to make sure the workshop fits you.

Location & Availability

I’m based in Manchester and deliver workshops across Greater Manchester, the North West, and beyond. Sessions can take place at your venue, or I can help you think through what kind of space would work best.

Advance booking is recommended, particularly during busy periods such as Valentine’s Day, International Women’s Day, Mental Health Awareness Week, and Christmas.

Pricing Guide

I price workshops in a clear, straightforward way so it’s easy to understand what’s included.

  • Workshops start from £160, which covers planning, preparation, and delivery of the session
  • Materials are priced per participant, typically around £5 per person, depending on the workshop and materials used

Final costs may vary slightly depending on group size, format, location, and any bespoke design work, but I’ll always confirm pricing clearly in advance.

If you’re working to a particular budget, I’m very happy to talk this through and suggest options that fit.
